HOW DO I SIGN INTO THE MOBILE APP?

  1. Before signing into the mobile app, you must first successfully sign into the desktop version of our website.
  2. Business clients: Enter your Company ID and User ID.
  3. Consumer clients: Enter your User ID.
  4. Enter your password.

HOW DO I MAKE A MOBILE DEPOSIT?

  1. Sign on to your Silvergate Bank mobile app.
  2. Select the plus sign in the bottom center of the screen.
  3. Select “Deposit”.
  4. Endorse the back of your check with the verbiage “For Mobile Deposit Only at Silvergate Bank”.
  5. Take a picture of the front and back of your check.
  6. Select the account where you want to deposit your check.
  7. Enter the check amount.
  8. Approve deposit.
  9. You will receive an email confirmation that your mobile deposit was successful.

WHAT IF MY CHECK AMOUNT IS HIGHER THAN MY DAILY LIMIT?

Contact your Business Banking Center.

WHEN WILL MY FUNDS BE AVAILABLE?

Deposits processed and approved before 4:00 PM PST on a business day will be available the next business day. Deposits processed after 4:00 PM PST or on a non-business day or federal Holiday will be processed the next business day.

I RECEIVED AN ERROR STATING THAT THE CHECK IMAGE COULD NOT BE UPLOADED. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Retake the picture by placing the check on a flat surface with a dark background and in an area with enough lighting. Ensure the image is within the preview frame before retaking the picture.

WHAT DO I DO IF THE APP ISN’T RESPONDING PROPERLY?

  • Check to make sure there are no pending updates for this app.
  • Close out of the app completely and re-launch.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue:

  • Delete the app.
  • Clear browser history from mobile device.
  • Re-install application
  • Restart mobile device.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH MY DEPOSIT AFTER ITS BEEN SUBMITTED?

You will receive an email that the deposit has been declined and a representative from your business banking center will reach out as well.

WHAT TYPE OF CHECKS CAN I DEPOSIT?

You can deposit checks payable in U.S. dollars and drawn at a U.S. bank.

HOW DO I DO AN INTERNAL TRANSFER?

  1. Sign into your Silvergate Bank mobile app.
  2. Select the plus sign in the bottom center of the screen.
  3. Select “Transfer”.
  4. Select “Transfer From” to choose which account the money will come from.
  5. Select “Transfer To” to choose which account the money will go to.
  6. Select “Amount” to enter the dollar amount of the transfer.
  7. Approve transfer.

HOW DO I PAY A BILL?

You must already have bill pay payees setup. You can do this through the desktop version of our website.

  1. Sign into your Silvergate Bank mobile app.
  2. Select the plus sign in the bottom center of the screen.
  3. Select “Pay Bill”.
  4. Select a payee from the list of payees.
  5. Select “Pay From” to choose which account the money will come from.
  6. Select “Send On” to choose the date the payment will send on.
  7. Select “Amount” to enter the dollar amount of the payment.
  8. Select “Memo” to type a memo for the payment (this is optional).
  9. Approve payment.
