Prior to joining Silvergate Bank in
September 2007 as Vice President-Information Technology and Security
Manager, Jared Fraher was responsible for the management of all network
operations and information security requirements at a $500 million local
community bank. He has spent his entire IT and security career in
the financial industry holding positions in both the banking and credit
union industries. Mr. Fraher’s primary career focus and expertise are in
network operations management and information security compliance.
He is accomplished in IT infrastructure expansion and management,
information security program development, and policy implementation. Other
areas of awareness include business continuity planning, internal risk
assessment and risk mitigation control implementation.
Mr. Fraher was raised in San Diego,
California. He holds a CISSP certification in addition to a Master
Certificate in Information Security from Villanova University (Villanova,
PA). He is currently in attendance at DePaul University (Chicago,
IL) for a B.A. in Information Assurance / Security Engineering. |
